3) Program Analyst :

A program analyst's job is to prepare, organize, evaluate, and modify a system or a program for a very specific need. Most of the time, this has something to do with report processing and the preparation statistical data that are helpful to a company or an organization.

4) Product Analyst :

Product analysts are tasked to plan a product's technical specifications, design its improvements, analyze the user data related to the product, and conduct feasibility tests of it. Most of the time, their job also requires them to directly report pertinent results to the concerned divisions of the company.

5) Technical Analyst :

Technical analysts are the people who are the deemed experts on the technical process related to the system. They are the one who knew the hardware and software that are used to build the system. These are the people who are also tasked to educate other people, especially the end users about the system or the product involved.

These are the different business analyst positions that one can enjoy should he or she would like to focus on the said field. Most of these jobs require high levels of experience, as these are very significant positions. A business analyst assumes important duties in relation to his or her job. A usual business analyst job description almost always contains the following responsibilities:

1) Conducting research :

To understand more about a system or a problem, a business analyst has to do a research, which significantly answers all stated inquiries. Business analysts are expected to discover all facts, trends, and potentials of a specific situation.

2) Planning a solution :

To every dilemma, there should be a solution devised. Since the problem is already determined in the research, specific plans have to be formulated to effectively address the issue.

3) Systematize the resolution :

Once the solution is all set, it has to be carried out at the precise moment. And carrying it out has to follow a special order. A business analyst has to make sure that the solution to the problem is executed only with the right procedure.

4) Analyze results :

An analyst's job does not end when a solution is implemented. He also needs to evaluate whether or not the solution he developed had worked. If it worked, then he had been successful; else, a new solution needs to be worked out.

5) System modification :

If the solution was not successful, then either part of the system has to be altered or it has to be redone altogether. A business analyst has to make sure that the right solution is given to the problem at hand. And he is supposed to continue the cycle until everything works perfectly fine.

These are the real tasks of a business analyst. Business analyst jobs are available in all companies following an ERP system. With these said, it only goes to show that business analysis is and always has been a fulfilling and challenging job.
